THE TRAINER

I started dog training 30 years ago when I was given my first German Shepherd. Later I joined Breed and Obedience Training Clubs to prepare my dogs for Trials and Competitions. I've attended several Training Clinics and Seminars given by Top Dog Trainers in the country, as well as seminars by renowned Behaviorists, D.V.M.s, even Dog Food Manufacturers. I'm a Honor Graduate from the West Virginia Canine College for Professional Dog Trainers, a federally accredited institution, and taught Group Obedience Classes for Fairfax County Park Authority for 10 years. I've Trained and Titled several of my own dogs; AKC Competition Obedience Titles, Sheep Herding Titles, Tracking Certifications, Agility and Canine Good Citizen Awards. Founded Canterbury Canine Training in 1992 and have been training dogs mostly for pet dog owners in Puppy, Basic and Advanced Obedience.
